Far Pavilions
All materials of the album Far Pavilions were composed in Switzerland in December 2006, perhaps in record time for me - for two months. What can we say ... The phrase "best of the mountains may be just the mountains" has the right to be, but when you consider that the world is still a lot of things of beauty, then, in my opinion, this phrase is still relatively controversial. Nevertheless, my imagination was shocked in the Alps, not so often we can see such a strict, cold beauty and so close can feel the breath of eternity. And the song, named Far Pavilions and which entered the album and became its title, was devoted to this beauty. It was composed in one breath and literally for several hours, straight in a notebook. My way to Switzerland lay through the whole of Europe, and I blazed a trail by a fantastic Russian car called "Oka", which guzzled oil almost as much as gasoline. The Germans looked dumbfoundedly in parking lots this product of the domestic automobile industry and asked - what kind of car? I calmly replied: "The name of this machine – Okay". I will not describe all the details of this trip, but when with my grief in half I got to Frankfurt am Main, I finally expressed all of my long-simmering impressions about the trip in the song Frankfurt. It looked so. At the roadside, in the middle of the cultural German city of Frankfurt there stands a small iron box, which sometimes goes, if it is pushed for a long time. From the open window there sticks out a guitar neck and a strange hairy fellow yells an obviously hard-won song about this fucking German city in which he was delivered by this crappy Russian jalopy, etc. Gathered nearby cultural German people were so imbued, that they didn't even call the police. My mental anguish intensified by the fact that by this time I ran out of money for everything, including gasoline and oil ... All the charm in the fact that after two months, I bravely traveled the same route by the same car from Bern back to Peter. In general the album came out interesting, but unfortunately it is also yet in a tuning phase.
